MISSOULA HEALTHY FAMILIES

Missoula Healthy Families home visitor can meet you and your family in your home or a place of your choosing. The home visitor identifies your family’s concerns, challenges, barriers, strengths, and goals. The home visiting team consists of nurses, social workers, and nutritionists who provide information and referrals on a wide variety of subjects, such as healthy pregnancy education, nutrition, breastfeeding, labor and delivery preparation, and parenting concerns such as infant health and safety, sleeping, eating, childcare, and more. Every family is eligible for this program regardless of income.

NURSE FAMILY PARTNERSHIP

The Nurse-Family Partnership is free to eligible women who are less than 28 weeks pregnant. Your personal nurse will meet with you through your child’s second birthday giving you encouragement and support as you navigate the challenges of being a new mom.   Your nurse will lend guidance and information on pregnancy health, child health and development, breastfeeding support and much more.
